Incredible fact. If Quebec separates from Canada it will shorten the drive from Newfoundland to Toronto by almost 20 hours. The Newfies are overjoyed at the prospect.

Well ya see... Quebec is between Toronto and Newfoundland... Now to the Newfies (what the rest of Canada calls Newfoundlanders).. it would seem that if such a large province would 'separate' from Canada it would be a shorter drive to Toronto. Newfies are generally regarded as... unsophisticated. Like someone from Yorkshire maybe.
