I believe that David Boon took the record from Ian Botham for the most beers between Sydey and London, that being a staggering (probably quite literally ) 48 beers!!!!!

I don't tend to stick to one drink, I prefer to go for a selection, that way the airhostesses don't remember how much you have had so easily

Best I can remember is about 4 beers early on, a couple of G&T's before the meal, 3 mini bottles of red with/after the meal, 4 or 5 ports and finally a couple of beers to wash it all down again!

Funnily enough, I slept solidly for the remaining 7 hours of the flight !!!!!

Boon.
I see you know what I was getting too.

A couple of beers before the flight for me and then onto the Bourbon & coke until I fall asleep or we reach LA. The last time I flew to LA I had a nasty incident with some turbulence, Just as well the cabin lights were off and no one could see were half of it landed.

Bourbon & coke is always an option but I find that the G&T doesn't stain so much when the turbulence hits .

My friend managed to throw a whole cup of water over the people in front of us one time

He was asleep with the galss still in his hand, and when I nudged him, he jumped so much that the glass hit the bulkhead above us, and came down on the people in front!!!

Without going into too much detail, there was a bit of a scene on the plane, where my mate asked the purser to "step outside and sort this out!" and we VERY nearly got arrested when the flight landed in Hong Kong!!!!!!!

ROTLFLMAO

That would have been great to see, I can picture in my head and I can't stop laughing.

I'll have to give the G&T a try and hopefully save myself some embarrasment.

Looking back on it, yes it was funny! At the time I seriously thought that I was going to be arrested at Hong Kong Airport!!!!

I refused to give my ID card no. to the police after we got off the plane, telling them that I was not involved (as did we all ) in the incident and for that reason they had no authority to take my number!! This didn't seem to make them any happier !!!! They wanted me to tell them the name of the guy who had had the argument with the purser (he has managed to avoid them as he got off the flight and legged it!!), so I denied any knowledge of him and said he wasn't with me! . As I was saying this he called on my mobile phone ..... as I answered it the police started saying, "that's him isn't it!!" and I just said into the phone "It's okay darling, I have just landed, am talking to some policemen at the moment and should be home by about 10:30."

They didn't seem to believe that either, but my mate got the message that he shouldn't be calling me at that point!!!!

LMAO.

I could well imagine the lack of humour at the time.
I bet your mate was glad he got out of there when he did.

I think he may still be inside now if he hadn't managed to avoid them as he got off the plane .

I failed to give the whole truth in the above story ..... there was a group of about 15 blokes flying back from a stag trip to Bangkok and we had been drinking for about 7 hours already that day!!!!!

Ah but that's only a minor detail, I wouldn't think that alchahol could have played any role in the situation.

PB02-

I ended up going, but when she questioned whether or not I was leaving enough tip, including asking the waiter how much tip he got in front of everybody (this from someone who was driven there because she can't drive on freeways and whose dinner was paid for because it was her birthday), I got up, called her a worthless bitch, and stomped out of the restaurant.

You have to understand, we spend thousands of dollars a year to keep my mother in law in a nursing home, my wife spends many aggravating hours a week looking after her, and this miserable c*nt won't lift a finger or contribute a penny to help -- ever. I may kill her soon.

When the guy she had lived with and supported her for many years was in the hospital dying a horrible death from lung cancer, she said "Damnit, I hope he dies soon, I don't have time for this shit." That's it, I'm going to kill her today. If you guys never hear from me again, you'll know why.
