I HATE how my local news people allways rush to show pics of the really bad accident's n such .............. like yesterday they show this lil plane haz crashed and that they SUSPECT it was being flown by some Couple from way north in WA somewheres headed to So Cal..... BUT HAVE NOT CONFIRMED THAT YET

its so rediculous when they say " we can not say the Names of the two people involved as we have not confirmed or let the family know yet " you JUST showed the GDaing plane and told where it was heading and even said that it was a Cesna what eva type like the kids of that couple couldnt figure out that it was indeed their folks

it just bugz me that they rush w shtuff like that stead a watitin till yeah they HAVE identified the people involved AND notified the families

guess its about bein 1st w/the story

 

Counterpoint - those who use comedy movies to reinforce their ideals = who cares what happens to them

 

it's about $$$, they've simply found that people pay better attention to such things

i. e. "your kids may be in danger of death/molestation/nuclear strike. we won't tell you which until news at 10."

 

simply they repeatedly find things we need to be afraid of, and tell us how to avoid them during their newscast.

 

Tarts, you've got two brain cells to rub together. Thusly, you represent a minority of the people who are gonna watch this thing.

I assure you that by the end of that movie, 85-90% of everyone in the theatre are going to care.

 

Moreover, in terms of poking fun at commentators, satirists, etc. . . if you removed everyone who used comedy to reinforce a point, The New Yorker would probably go tits up, and The Corner would probably implode.
