Thanks for the well wishes and advise fellas.

I guess I've always relied on my body to fix itself when I'm sick. Then again, I haven't had anything this serious before. Thinking back, feeling breathless/exhausted doing the same thing you've been doing for the past three years is a bit of a dead giveaway...

I bet your crit was in the 20's eh?
I'm not sure what those are.

The only important number I could remember is my hemoglobin count when I was admitted: 7.6 (7.6 what? I was trained as an engineer and have been conditioned to expect a unit after numbers, I guess doctors don't go through the same kind of conditioning)

I was told a healthy person my age should have something like 13-14.

After the transfusion, I think I was up to 12.2, and a few hours later, 12.4. I guess it's starting to regenerate by itself.

Yeah I know Vanessa. Thinking back, what I did (or didn't do) was pretty stupid.

On Saturday, I was thinking maybe I was a bit sick or something. But by Sunday, I should have known that I was in a pretty med up situation...

Jack. I'm glad you're okay. We have to watch ourselves and listen to our body.

Take care of yourself buddie.
