Often times the front wear more on the inside and not evenly. You often think that the fronts aren't wearing until you look inside at the inside half of the tire.

My originals lasted almost 17K. A lot of that has to do with the car being a daily drive. As a result I put on 185 miles per week of relatively low tire wear miles to every 25 miles or high wear miles.

My original S-02 fronts were definitely worn more on the inside part of the tread than the outside, John, by 8000 miles.

As it turns out, toe was off a bit, and I'm sure that had something to do with it. Now, my original rears are our Volvo's fronts!

Yeah...I hear ya on the insides wearing out first. That's where I always check for my fronts.

The inside wear is due to a Honda setting of the fronts for better cornering.

... that is the normal inside wear. Sounds like your's was far more than normal Chazmo.
