ninh, since were on the subject, any lasix, laser surgery for (I forget the term) "Old Guy Eyes" (reading glasses....? I hate mine.....

the term is presbyopia

this is the decreased inability to focus near. Unfortunately, there is no good solution yet.

multiple surgical options out there, most of them work on the theme of monovision: setting one eye for near and one eye for far.
the latest thing is conductive keratoplasty. It works on the same theme.
still in experimental stage is scleral expansion.

You can consider getting bifocal contact lens.

i have the bi-focal contacts...hate'em. Tried the near/far thing when fitting the contacts...never could adjust....use the contacts for social settings only (reading menu's). My work enviroment is filled with dust and crap and contacts are not an option....would love to get rid of my progresssives...
