Are you done trying to be google-smart yet? Where's the declaration of war?... You pretty much summarized exactly what I said. This was to allow the president the discretionary use of U.S. military force in Iraq.... good job cutting and pasting! You get a gold star!
Wow....you mean after we had invaded already....Congress thought it was stupid to immediately pull out and negotiate like we had never set a foot on the sand in the first place? SHOCKING!!!! Only a complete assclown would vote for an amendment like that, after the fact. The invasion happened, there was no turning back at that point.
Now that cut'n'paste is over....go get your crayons and learn to color within the lines! Why do I think your Crayola box only has black and white in it though.....couldn't imagine....

Perhaps if Dubya and his cronies had an exit strategy in place from the beginning, congress and the America public would not have turned so sour on this "conflict" ...2000 dead soldiers later..we still have no exit strategy to speak off. 
Its one thing to underestimate your enemy (obviously we did that), but just plain arrogance to not plan properly for an exit! I guess we learned NOTHING from Vietnam!
