The fact of the matter is I'm not the only Republican in this country who has always thought Bush was a joke since the 2000 election. Anybody who listened to McCain's speech at the convention for that election and then had to listen to Bush get up there and stumble through, what appeared to be, a junior high school science report narrative, knew from Day 1 what to expect.
