Round 2 complete! Garage completely gone thru

4 trips to the Dump

Killed 2 Scorpions

Blew off about a gazzzzzzzillion leaves & tree branches

Worth all the effort though

J / K 1st time I saw one up close & personal like was at a wonderful place in AZ Picacho Peak Campground
packing up the then trailer to head out I was standing on the mat I throw down under the entry door and C-6 says " look down "

lil bugger was RIGHT THERE close to my luckily covered foot I jumped back like & kept a visual on him making sure he didn't come anywhere near the wheel well & possibly enter the Trailer

They are fairly slow moving lil guys and yeah the Desert and Mountains make nice homes I guess

I did let out a lil when she saw it ( C-6 thought the screams were coming from up the hill ) I then grabbed a 2 X 4 and landed it on him :splat: their lil tails up are quite creepy

saw the second one on the now clean floor so guess there's a nest or some more living somewhere near the garage :creepy:

I've heard the smaller the Scorpion the meaner & more powerful the STING is.

My one and only encounter with one was many years ago (like 30) at a campground in AZ whilst on vacation. Being stupid kids we really didn't realize the trouble we could've been in and we were following it as it strolled across the site.
Oddly enough, we've not been back to that campground since
