By pretending to still be in school, I can get discount on Apple computers as well (I still have access to my school e-mail address, so that certainly helps).

It's still expensive though.

^ definitely a nice unit if all you ever want to do is web and email. A few other nice connections (like firewire) Still expensive for what you get.

That's what I've always heard. But every time I'm tempted to buy a PC because it's 'cheaper' the price always seems to go way way up. - By the time I add the features needed to make it comparable to an Apple, most of the time the PC is just as much if not MORE EXPENSIVE.

On my 7th Apple.. I'm biased but I really hate having to deal with any Gatesean products.

 

The picture they're using simply predates the main Apple campus. It's hard to say if that fact is intentional or not; it's pretty amusing either way.

I lost track of my computers. I have at least 4 PCs and 7 Macs.

PCs aren't bad once you load a useful and reliable operating system onto them.
