As long as too many humans exist on this planet, (like right now) there will always be extremes that are inhumane or unjust.

If everyone switched completely to vegetarianism, then we would have massive deficiencies of nutrients in the soil and there would be environmental consequences from that too.

 

I wonder if that film is actually effective at getting the point across (I watched it in its entirety). I suspect that most meat lovers who watch the film would rationalize that the scenes are not from typical conditions, but from the extreme worst cases. Much like how Farenheit 9/11 didn't have the effect that it was hoping to achieve.

I think that you may also want to get a better source than a webpage that could've been thrown together by anyone in a few minutes. (the 2nd one)

 

Reminds me of the Simpsons episode in which Lisa becomes a vegetarian.

Paul McCartney's condition to be on the show was that Lisa would have to stay that way.
