RIP fellow Canadian. I knew him more as a solo artist than his work with The Band.

 

Robbie was a great solo artist. The Band's work was amazing! If you haven't thoroughly checked out their body of work, you are in for a major treat. Definitely watch the Last Waltz. Rest in peace Robbie...

Still of the Night was our jam back in high school!

 

yeah, Whitesnake was my favourite band by far during the highschool era in my life. Bernie was credited with writing "Here I Go Again" . "Still of the Night" was a cool song for sure. Lots of good songs that never made it on mainstream radio. I think "Fool for Your Loving" was my favourite song of theirs, just before they made it big. But the video with Tawny Kitaen was a vision I will never forget lol.

I loved the bands Rainbow, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, and Dio all around the same time and off-shoots of eachother.

 

“love ain’t no stranger” was another good one by Whitesnake.
“Heaven and Hell” by Dio is one of my favorites.
