Aaron Carter passed away today, I think he was around 35 years old. I can't say that I am surprised, the boy had some serious issues in recent years. Not unusual for a child pop-star. Whenever I've seen him pop up in the news or on television in recent times I felt that he could easily pass away from drug related issues or suicide. He always had that sense about him. RIP

I saw that he died but didn't know who he was.

He and his more famous brother were child pop singers and boy-band material, he never achieved the fame that his brother achieved. I believe their sister died a few years ago, she was also in the music business and she died under suspicious circumstances in her bathroom and had mental illness issues, not unlike Aaron.

Okay I am going out on a limb here, so bare with me Rob.

I never seen an official report of his cause of death. He was found unconscious in his hotel room, there has been some mention of it being old adult syndrome, but it sounds like a scam to me. Some people felt it was related to Covid vaccines. I thought it was very strange that no one talked about it after it happened.

For a few years many people have been dying in Dominican Republic suspiciously and many under similar circumstances. A lot of tourists were found dead in their hotel rooms, and the cause of death was fluid in the lungs (there is a term for that but basically their lungs filled with fluid). Many of the same people drank alcohol from their mini-fridge stocked in their hotel rooms. I had the misfortune of vacationing in Dominican Republic just before the rash of deaths started happening, and I developed fluid in my lungs when I was there. I had to be treated by a doctor at my resort and when I came home, luckily I did not die when I was there but I now think it was a stroke of luck as I am not a big drinker. I had the occasional drink each day when I was there, and I never drank from our mini-fridge stock in the room. It has been found that bootleg alcohol can cause one to die quickly if it is made incorrectly, and you die with fluid in your lungs. The Dominican Republic is the worst island one can vacation at, the people there are all cheats, liars, and thieves, they will kill you for a nickel. The food is horrible and I have no doubt that the booze is bootleg alcohol that is poured into bottles to look authentic. When you have resorts that offer all you can drink alcohol they will do anything to save a penny, and the networks at work to smuggle the booze into resorts is all part of the underworld in that country. I have no doubt. The DR government has gone to great lengths to cover up the scandal, hundreds of Americans and other foreign tourists all died the same way in recent years, they watered down the alcohol with bootleg booze - with high methanol content. I would not go back to that country if you paid me or gave me a free vacation, the people there despise North Americans and they don't care if they cause your death as long as they make a nickel off you. I would not recommend that country to my worst enemies.

I yearn to find out the cause of death of Ray Liotta, I almost died there and I believe many others have died along the same causes , that was one case when being a light drinker or non-drinker saved my life, I am sure of it. Many people at those resorts just drink beyond excess, that costs money and someone was profiting off cheaper booze. I get fired up about it, as so many innocent people have died the same way and it all got brushed off by the DR government and the US authorities did nothing despite hundreds of Americans dying the same way.

I remember you posting about that before. I googled his cause of death and most say he died in his sleep but not what caused it. One link says he died from another case of sudden adult death syndrome which is the newly coined medical condition that baffles australian physicians which is
I don't see how they could get the family to cover it up but it is very strange.

Maybe he had a lot of viagra in his system or drugs, and the family didn't want details like that released, or perhaps some other personal details that may have been embarrassing ? The family doesn't seem to have said much or pursued it very far.

Do a search of tourists who died with fluid in their lungs in Dominican Republic, it is crazy and I was there at that time frame. There is a formal term for fluid in the lungs I just don't recall what it is, but too many people dying the same way in their hotel rooms after drinking from minibars.

Our good friend Bob Johnson, who owns JR's, our very favorite BBQ restaurant in the world, lost his favorite nephew to pneumonia in the Dominican Republic under very suspicious circumstances. He was misdiagnosed, moved to a second hospital, etc., etc. It was tragic. Bob was beside himself with grief.

I am sorry to hear that, I was very close to being in the same shoes, they wanted to transfer me to hospital in the DR when I was there, but I said forget it I am going home. The doctor on my resort was excellent though I will give her full marks, her treatment helped me just enough to keep me safe and then I went home. I think I was saved because I wasn't a big drinker. There was something very bad going on in the DR a few years back, it is a shame so many people died the same way, and the governments were able to sweep it all under the rug. I am convinced the issue was bootleg booze causing respiratory failures.
