mmmmm... chili....
ugh.
A popular tourist destination where I live has a rather active food court....
the chile is created with all of the leftovers: hotdogs, hamburgers, various vegtebles at the end of the day for the following day.
My friend who works there said everyday someone gets their chile free when they find a plastic glove or part of a utensil and the like in the chile.
as for wendys...one time I walked by and saw the chile....in a bucket...sitting by a dirty ass sink with no lid on it.

SAN JOSE -- A spokeswoman for the San Jose Police Department today confirmed that investigators flew to Las Vegas and served a search warrant in connection with the severed finger found in a bowl of Wendy's chili in San Jose last month.
Police spokeswoman Gina Tepoorten would not confirm where the search warrant took place or if there are any suspects in the case.
"We did send a couple of investigators down there and with Las Vegas PD they conducted a search. Other than that, the investigation is ongoing," Tepoorten said.
Anna Ayala, the 39-year-old woman who claimed to have found the finger in her order of chili from the Wendy's at 1405 Monterey Road, is a Las Vegas resident. There have been reports that in the warrant, police say that the finger could belong to Ayala's deceased aunt.
