Is that the diesel?

 

It is, launched yesterday, and making its debut at Sebring for the 12hrs.

Doesn't sound as good as a screaming Judd engine though, and no glowing brake disks when it's dark

 

Any reason why it's a diesel?

 

Audi were rumoured last year to be thinking about replacing the R8 with a diesel for this years ALMS, LMES and LM24.

They want to be the first manufacturer to win LM with a diesel and I suspect it will help them market their diesel cars in the US and Europe.

 

How much for the Berlina?

 

That is the test car I think.

 

Well if they are done with it, I'll take it.
