Kenny Brack (Panoz G-Force/Honda) qualifies at 227.598 - faster than the pole speed.

The Toyotas (qualifying today) were no faster than 224.

What this whole mess will do is insure Button's departure to Williams BMW in 2006. The deal is that if he has less than 70 percent of the total points held by the leader in the championship at the end of August, then Button is free to get out of his BAR contract and join Williams.

hmm..good question.. but if I'm Button's agent, I'd argue that this was not driver related suspension, but rather, team. I don't know if that will hold though.. I'm pretty sure Button will gone one way or another

If he wanted to leave Honda, wouldn't that give him an incentive not to do well this season (to ensure getting less than 70 percent)?

Sebastian Loeb secures his fifth win this season in Turkey and extends his lead in the points. Petter Solberg finishes second.
