Moving Out, need advice.
i live in relatively nice house...but much prefer to be at my friends houses in the "ghetto"....its much nicer...you just chill on porch (bad ac/no ac) and all the people come up..get a party goin on whenever ya wanna
just gotta sit outside with a few people and people seem to just show up
plus if its not nice you dont have to worry about it as much...as other people said you (hopefully) have time to get nice things/have your own crib...why not have more experiences and a rickety floor.......you can always turn up music and lock your door if you wanna be alone

Okay, well I have about a day or two to decide where to live for the upcoming school year. On-Campus residence was filled to capacity, and 2nd year students usually live off-campus. I've looked at lots of places, mostly basement apartments, and one type of off-campus apartment for students..
My question is, would you rather have a larger, nicer living area, with private accomodations (like private bathroom/kitchen), but have to be secluded from everyone else, or live in a not so nice room (it's been renovated a little, but the rooms are really small, a little ragged, and bathroom/kitchen is shared) but be surrounded by other students?? (It's also downtown so social aspect and oppurtunities to meet new people are far greater), I need to make a decision by like Thursday at the latest, but I keep going back and fourth

alright, well after nights of contemplating, I've decided to go for the shitty apartment building, the social aspect is too much to decline, the rent is about the same, but I think I may feel lonely in the other place over time... there's no A/C though
, but after September rolls by it shouldn't be a problem, and I can find ways of sprucing the place up a little.. I move in Sunday so until I get high speed connected I can't
