I've had this thought since reading this thread. I might as well express it.
Life is unpredictable. You're traveling along and things are going well. Suddenly, BAM! something bad could happen and your life (luckily not in this case) could radically change. Make sure you cherrish what time is given to you.

Actually, something else put me in this state of mind.
one of my patient was just given a diagnosis of brain cancer. He doesn't mind the small things anymore. His outlook in life is much different now (I believe for the better).
