Sounds like you're splitting hairs to me, big guy. A rose by any other name.....

I'm gonna keep calling you Esquire, if it's all the same to you, James! Ain't no way I'm ever gonna' remember "Contract Consultant."

Like me... I'm not really an engineer by degree -- I have liberal arts majors in Computer Science, Philosophy, and a minor in Mathematics. "Software engineer" is actually a little amusing to me.. Software is more about art than engineering. (my personal opinion)

Whoa boy, I'm way off topic today!

And, by the way, what the heck should we call Martin anyway???!!! :freak420:

Probably most field engineers (of all sorts) aren't really "engineers" by education. The key to success in the field is broad knowledge of your company's product and the right contacts into product engineering.

Zoe, hope some day to chat with you about the details of your work on plane systems... Very cool stuff!

Seems most of us here in the Corner feel the same way, Zoe. I love my work... That is, when no one's breathing down my neck to get something done.

Funny though how we take time out of our days to hang out here.

I was talking with Tokyo_James yesterday about how this is something of an addiction... Feeling helpless to resist yet, Zoe?????

Defying classification Thanks, Chaz, that brings a tear to my eye

Zoe, did you ever do any work in St. Louis with Bell Helicopter? They were my biggest Defcon customers, though we did some cool bits for NASA and Lockheed (part of the reason for the SR nickname).
