what's wrong with snow? I'm not talking three feet at a time here! I grew up in New England. I hate the fact we never get decent snow around DC. To make matters worse, so many people down here have NO IDEA what they are doing in the stuff!

There is nothing better in this world than an open parking lot and a rear wheel drive car...NOTHING. I used to do it in my Challenger all the time. Front-wheelers don't know what they are missing...It's just not the same in reverse.

 

......I grew up going to a school that had the record every year in the state of Oregon for the most school closures. I'm just sick of the precipitation period. No matter what form it's in. I've lived in a WET part of the world almost my whole life.

 

Snow is cool once in a while but all the time would get annoying. It's just not good driving weather... unless you like rally racing...

 

I say, if you're gonna have winter -- have winter! That said, it really sucks to have to get up a 6am and fire up a snowblower in subzero temps after a foot of powder drops on the driveway. A few years ago, we had 18 major snowstorms one winter... Holy !

Jim, you're so right, though.. I'd never want to drive down your way with the white stuff starts to fall. People can't figure out the consequences of driving like turds.

Sorry, j/k... That was, after all, over 200 years ago, and my family was starving in some crapsville over in Russia at the time (so I take no personal respnosibility).
