my butt
I almost joined the Air Force to be a pilot. I made the wrong choice out of High School though. Should've joined ROTC and finished college. Now it would be way too much time before I would know whether I could be one or not, so I stuck with my other love......computers. Not quite the adrenaline rush, but it keeps me challenged and I'm pretty good at what I do.
Luke, I never knew you wanted to be a pilot! I did, too! I definitely didn't want to join the military, though. I looked seriously into going to the Embry Riddle school in Arizona (wasn't that one of the schools that trained those bastard 9/11 pilots?), but I was too much of a stoner and didn't follow through.

Not sure I would be happy being a pilot these days, though. Whoring in the Corner is much more fun!

Let's see, Zoe, if I knew my military planes ... If it's not Lockheed, does McDonnell-Douglas even exist anymore? I work for a company that's a spin-off from Raytheon. Hmmm. Do tell.
:drums fingers, waiting for Zoe to tell us where he works:

:insert day dreaming here:
FYI - In case others don't know, George (The Raptor) used to fly F-4 Phantoms.
... Nothin' can stop the US Air Force ... (I'm humming to myself).
I was a cadet at USAFA back in another life. I, too, wanted to be a pilot. They took us on a few really exciting "training missions" at the Academy. One was in a trainer known as the T-27 "Tweet". The pilot took me in a 4G roll, and I almost puked my guts out. One of the best times I ever had!

Sorry for the delayed response (like you guys are sitting around waiting for me to speak!!!),but I just had to drive from Baltimore to Pittsburgh...in the rain...in the S2000...NOT FUN!!!
Anyhow, I worked for Lockheed, back when it was still just Lockheed (before Martin came along in late '94). I performed field modifications on aircraft ( the aviation version of taking your car to Best Buy and having them install a new stereo ) only I went out in the field. After 4 years of too much travel, I quit and went to work in Vegas as a...get this... stuntman. Half of you guys have probably seen me. I worked as a pirate/British Sailor on the Bucaneer Bay Sea Battle at Treasure Island. After 3= years, I realized that I missed working with military aircraft, so I went back to Lockheed (actually, they came to me) and started work with them on Sept 10th, 2001. Little did I know that unfortunately for the rest of the country, business was about to get better. I am currently in Baltimore, on assignment, working with the Maryland Air National Guard. Unfortunately I cannot tell you any more than that.
I usually have lotsa free time during the day, so that is when I'll normally be posting. I work 4 - 10's (Tues-Fri), so you probably won't hear from me much on the weekends. I look forward to hangin' with y'all (said with an obvious southern slang... for no other reason than the fact that I am buzzing
).
Has anyone seen my pants???
Hey Weintz, all In know right now is that LM operates its IT department out of Orlando ( I think )... but I'll know more on Tuesday.
