It is a very sad sight.

I am okay. Just sore. Head hurts. Body hurts. Heart hurts worse.

Stupid woman driver just decided she wanted to see how fast she could ram the back of my car. I looked in the rearview mirror and saw her. She was really going fast. I knew she was going to hit me but had no time or anywhere to move to get out of the way. Woman kept saying, I am so sorry, blah blah blah blah blah. All I could think was, "You getter get back or I think I might knock the crud out of you!"

Ambulance and firemen said, that sure WAS a pretty little car!

Everyone I knew seemed to be driving by me afterwards. All I could muster up is a disgusted sound.... mmmm-mmmm-mmmm and shake my head.

Maybe they can repair is back to the way it was. We will see.
What car was she driving?

Your car is likely going to have $10-15,000 in damage and probably a somewhat bent frame. Hope for it to get totaled - the car will never be the same.

Have you seen pics? What are you basing this on?

I too know the pain of having the an S2k cave-in I feel your pain. What Mocky said though. Definitely get checked out!

This all depends on how fast "fast" is. If the car that hit you was directly behind you and exceeding 25mph, chances are the cosmetic repairs alone will be well over 7 grand. If the frame is bent, those repairs are extremely time-consuming to do correctly. If the damage to the frame is more than minor, most reputable insurance companies will total the car right off the bat.

Frame damage is serious, and even when properly repaired, most cars are generally never the same again, as even the best repairs still can result in a loss of rigidity.

Think about it this way - you'll be able to get a few new ones with proceeds from the injury lawsuit

Yes. I "met" Uppity in Vintage and wondered where she went. Found her.
