You went off in an ambulance? Are you sure you're OK. If you're sore, the other party should pay to make you well. You should consult with an attorney and a chiropractor. My co CO in the So cal forum, Back-cracker (Mike Trinh), is a chiropractor. You should pm him and ask for his advice.

 

Sorry to hear about the car...I hope you feel better soon. Make sure to get completely checked out as everyone has already said. You can replaces cars but not people...

Okay...got a doc appt in the a.m. Head still hurting, neck hurting, back hurting, ribs hurting.... not so bad I have to lay down or anything. Get it all checked out in the morning.

Car (Juan) is at the car hospital....poor little fella, all alone and afraid at the hospital. boo hoo.

I think it will be cosmetic damages. Really smushed though.

If by any chance frame is bent even a hair... you are right... never be right again. I really hope not... I love this one and don't want a new one. We will see. Hope for the best.

From your description I highly doubt it will be totaled. My car had very slight frame damage when I had a rear end incident with a telephone pole and it was NOT totaled. They made her as good as new! Slight frame damage can be repaired if done properly. I have had no issues from the damage!

Pick your own reputable shop. NOT The one your insurance company pushes you into!
