I'm just not sure how much I'd worry about improving relations with Washington given the steady stream of bad things coming out of it.
Partly true. I agree it's best for Canada to have good relations with the US... However I think minority gov'ts are superior in many ways to majority gov't. Granted they are often (but not always) short lived, but they force a compromise that usually gets things done.
