Nice description of the functions of the ventilator. I learned that same thing recently with my dad. In the last month I've learned far more than I ever wanted to about life in an ICU and the medical profession, but it's been a fascinating journey.

Thanks, Jale. Everything's working out well. Dad's in his morning PT session right now, I'm getting ready to eat lunch and go over there AND my mom's back is feeling better so I sent her home to rest at her house and go see her own doctor later this week.
