What do you wear to a rehersal and rehersal dinner for a wedding if you are a groomsman.

Depends on the nature of the dinner. All of my groomsmen wore slacks and polo-type shirts, but I've been to some that everyone wore suits.

You can seldom go wrong showing up in a kilt and/or a Hawaiian shirt, though...

Depends upon the wedding, people invloved and the venue. I've had to wear suits but have also been able to wear jeans and a polo shirt. Casual dressy is always good though.
