You gotta consider removing that front plate.

Yeah, now Jerry can move straight on to giving me crap for HAVING a Miata!!

The hardtop does look pretty slick, I must admit. If the sun decides to peek out in the next couple days I may try to take it off to see how hard that is to do by myself. I have a feeling the hardtop will reside in my dining room much of the year...

Photo shoot next week? I'm game. We can get together for lunch one day and snap some pics, too.

Luke, as for the front plate, it looks kinda silly, but I don't mind distracting people with laughter while I drive circles around them...

I mean, I can't take this car TOO seriously, since it's smaller than a Costco shopping cart!

Do they let you take off the front plate in WA? We can't do that here in MA.

I can't recall, but I think the hardtop is a pretty heavy thing. You'll probably need an extra set of hands, Brant.

So, hey, wanna buy a slightly used set of 16" S2000 wheels?

They don't technically LET you take off the front plate, but you can get away with it most of the time.

The hardtop supposedly weighs about 40lbs, so I'm not worried about that. It's more that it's a little awkward, but I think I can do it alone. We'll soon find out...

I don't even want the 16" wheels I've got...but nice thought...

Thanks, mom. I will do that when the time comes. The other possibility is to put Blizzaks on those puppies and drive in the winter. Odds are that won't be happening.
