I understand what you're saying, and no chrome I'm not going all out with 22" wheels and crazy body kits, so I thought I'd make the engine bay look sweet. I *really* like the "redhead" and while I think polished looks excellent (i've had the opportunity last week and this week to see a couple in person) when you take out the color it looks kinda boring, even though it's shiny My main concern is getting the intake polished because it's a turd stock, it looks like a cast turd..... I can point you to the appropriate people to talk to about polishing should it pan out..... But, if I don't polish the cover then I don't think I want colored hoses, because then it's just overload

true, without the red valve cover, it's almost not a honda!

the stock intake actually doesn't look bad to me. it's a nice contrast to the bright red valve cover. but ya, i think a red valve cover and polished intake manifold would be SWEET! i just stepped into my garage to get a better idea
