The Official Hello to Sophia Thread
Sophia, hope you had a greet weekend!
AllGreat story Jim, well I am sure at the time it didnt seem to great!

I dont know why they just dont come on the PA and say Ladies and Gentelemn this is NOT A TEST this IS A REAL EMERGENCY we are in a friggen tin tube at 30000 feet and have no power and losing altitude fast! Please assume the crash position, put your head between your legs and kiss your sorry asses goodbye.
But then again perhaps I am too much of a realist
Boys, boys, boys...

Just smile a lot and say "isn't that nice?"... Then, later, remind your other half about the following:
1. changing diapers
2. using a thermometer in creative ways to "unblock" a constipated baby
3. the nasty after-effects of #2 (yes, my number 2 above coincidentally matches the number 2 we all know and love)
4. the 50 pounds she will put on during pregnancy
5. the 50 pounds you will put on during pregnancy
6. did I mention changing diapers?

Oh, I forgot to mention:
7. The household pets you used to love suddenly become an incredible strain on your life

Seriously, Jim, a puppy is a nice start. When you have responsibility for another life, you're starting on your way. Of course, there's no comparison with having a kid.
