Does he just want to borrow it or does he need a car?

My brother drives a semi-pimped suburban (and a 2-dr Tahoe as a beater). We have no interest in each other's vehicles.
I'd buy my bro a $500 beater before giving him my keys.

You should sell it so he can't borrow it... then go buy a new one.

If this a cultural thing, I guess I understand. I sure wouldn't give my car to anyone for a few months, including clients who put groceries on my table.

he already has 3 cars. He just wants a car for tooling around top down. I don't mind that he drives it but not right before summer. It's dry year round in Las Vegas so he could use it anytime. In the bay area, it rains in the winter so I try to make the most of my summer.

Tell him to go himself. It's your car, Ninh.

Fock that! I've told my bro no just for drives down the road. Never for a whole day let alone months!
it's cool though. I was S-less for 3 months 2 years ago. At least I'll have the G35.

I took his Lexus for a month before - even put a little dent in it and he didn't say a thing.

You've probably been better brought up than I, Ninh, but I don't think I'll ever lend my car to anyone, not even relatives*.

* Unless I'm related to a professional driver, like Takuma Sato or Jensen Button or something

Would you let him borrow your wife for a weekend?

Is he an older brother? Or younger?
