Alex, the Ferrari was pretty cool and the owner was too. He let us sit in it...
Mom wanted to take it to the track but he was not THAT cool.

We don't know who Nuvo is. So We didn't ask him. But since he put this on his plate I assume (insert joke here) he does..

Well, to put it bluntly, Nuvolari was Italian but he raced for Ferrari only once! In fact, he didn't much like Enzo Ferrari! He raced for Mr. Porsche (for Auto Union), Maserati, Alfa Romeo, MG but never for Ferrari!

Moreover, unless the owner of that 360 was a blood relative of the late, great Tazio Nuvolari, he doesn't deserve to have the name on his plates.

And to top it off, Nuvolari was from Mantua, not Modena! Confusing the two cities is like confusing LA and NYC.

BTW, Nuvolari made a name for himself when driving for German Auto Uniion (Audi). Ugh the ignorance.

Putting "Nuvolari" plates on a 360 Modena (of all the Ferraris, this one), is like putting "Fangio" plates on a Ferrari. Just because he's Italian (he's actually Argentinian but was raised in Italy) doesn't mean his name should be on an Italian car! He made his name with Mercedes for Christ's sake!

, thanks.

Speedvision and car mags will do that to you. Plus, I'm an F1 buff.

Yes, I know it's now Speed Channel. That's a stupid name if you ask me. With their current lineup, it might as well be called NASCAR channel.

BTW, the Ferrari guys were Italians. They were all speaking that language to each other. I guess he would know who Nuvolari is...

The only famous Italians I know are bike racers

Gianni Bugno, Marco Patani, Fausto Coppi, Mario Cipollini...
