I'm guessing the reason you guys call them Adirondack chairs is after the Adirondack region? Here, the Muskoka area is known as cottage country (albeit one that has become quite expensive) and of course where many people have those kinds of chairs.

I say washroom too - in many public places the signs will read 'washroom.' Haven't decided if that's better than 'loo.'
