I LOVE JT that whole area is very cool, when we camped there I would sit out at & see CRAZY s !!!
We also were there for that one Eclipse and saw many people with gear like yours set up!

 

I'm really proud of these ( my Hollyhocks ). they are an olskool Flower and I've grown them in my previous yard, wanted some in the new yard but couldn't find any
decided to try planting seeds last year, first year only got about a foot tall and no flower stalks only leaves
this spring they took off! They are over 6 feet and producing multiple colored flowers

 

Didn’t get to see the national park but did get to see Joshua trees on a highway in Nevada. Was really neat. Turned onto the road and it said “Joshua tree national highway”, Nevada state route 164.

Also drove through monument valley
