Yes, Zyrtec is perscription only... I got diagnosed with acute uticaria... but it was only on my forearms... that stuff worked miracles...I'm telling yo call your doctor and see if they'll perscribe it for you. It also works for all allergies as well.

The wedding was this past Saturday and everything was perfect. I can't believe its all over, I think I'm having withdrawl symptoms... is that possible?

I believe you'll need to go see an allergist. Swollen joints eh? That doesn't sound like an allergic reaction.

I should go review my allergic reaction symptoms...

It's men! Change to women and send us pictures!

Really though it sounds bad. Zyrtec is suppose to be good.
Have you been seen by an specialist or just a general MD?

I don't know how it works in Canada but try and see a allergy specialist.
Cold water compresses can help with the itching.

Hope your better soon!!!

I just reread your first post Less: throat swelling up can lead to a medical emergency - you'll not be able to breath if the swelling is serious. I hope your situation is a mild one.
I think you'll need to call your primary care doc to see him or get a referal. Do it soon.
