Please Help - I'm Desperate!
Les, I recommend trying some alternative approaches, especially for thing "they" don't understand, it could be diet, skin lotion, clothes, the paint in your house, anything. The biggest thing is finding the cause and treating the cause. My personal dilemna with using synthetic drugs is you're only "masking" the problem. So then you have the "problem" and your putting strange chemicals in your body....... just a thought....
Lisa just went to a MD who also does homeopatic practice, I'll let you know how the treatment goes and if it works out maybe I can point you to some resources. This is my first experience with this person, so I can't recommend her out of hand yet, but I am a big believer, I've already had my own experiences.

Thanks everyone! I have been to several doctors, including an allergist, dermatologist and immunologist. It is not one of those normal allergies like paint, grass, dogs, etc....it would have come up in the testing.
Autoimmune diseases run in my family (vitelago & pernicious anemia)....so that is why they feel it is an autoimmune thing. I agree with Wicky about "masking" the problem....but at this point I'm pretty desperate, not to mention miserable, so I'll try anything.
Right now my feet are so swollen I can barely walk
think I'll go have that oatmeal bath
