My company has been facing slow sales, Soph-y. Despite building some really awesome products, it's just not enough. So, we're either going to be cutting back severely on the product side (I really hope that's not what happens, but I'm not making the call) in order to rein in expenses (like engineering's the friggin' problem ), or we're going to redo the sales force to focus them in small teams.

I suspect the latter, combined with at least some cutbacks in engineering. Being the exorbitantly paid, brilliant-but-useless mofo that I am -- not to mention a master debater and porn surfer -- I could be let go. Shipping umpteen cutting-edge products to customers, getting three patents, and humping for 14 years to try to make something of my company notwithstanding, you just never know.

 

Im sorry to hear that Chazzy. I hate when companies lose focus of the important things, like talented employees, when money is involved. I really hope for the latter also. It sounds like you are an asset they will be fools to give up

:seriously: JUST read thru dis tread and it sounds like my Lil Angels Crest Run buddie is gonna have a nice turn out of support I dont think Mom will be there but I will in my Go Georgie JoeCon makes it even MORE tempting but I doubt I will come
