Brant, folks, a train would work. From NYC to Worcester, MA. If folks wanna do that and if it's less of a hassle than a rental car, go for it!

Jamesy, since you and L are coming from a jillion miles away, you two have dibs on our extra bedroom. The FP and I will be driving back to MA on Friday, if you and L wanna come along with us and spend Friday night too...
Folks, there's a wonderful B&B in my town that the FP and I stayed in (only a couple of miles from casa C) when we got married. I could point you guys to it, if you'd rather do that than crash at my place.... Lemme know. My two rugrats will probably sleep in the same room, which frees up another bedroom (one twin, I'm afraid, but some floor space)...
