.. it is occured far too often where athletes and celebrities in general have had lighter scentences, probation, and minimal charges to serious offenses.. it's almost like the law does not apply to them in some cases... At my age, I wouldn't consider any athlete a hero and I hope that the younger kids don't either, although it is sometimes very difficult to do so when all you see is there on court persona... I've always thought that, if a case brought to civil court was found to be frivolous the plaintiff should be fined some percentage of the amount that they are suing for. This would keep so much garbage out of the civil court system, as it would require that people be responsible for their actions.
