Right now I just "Googled" "Gary Cherone and Van Halen" to find out what zdave was talking about. I didn't know he was briefly with Van Halen. Hmmm, I like Gary Cherone's work with the band Extreme, but I can't see him being in Van Halen.

BBY2KS2K-Gary Cherone & Van Halen was not a good idea. Terrible idea. Horrible idea. That album should have never been released. Van Halen III wasn't even mentioned on "The Best of Both Worlds-Van Halen".

Right now, I am really happy that WSB came up with a GR8 idea for a thread and gave all VH their dues!!
Right now, I am so amazed at what everyone goes through in their life!! Even when you think you are the only one with problems!!
Right now, I'm amazed that BBY2KS2K didn't know about the worst VH album . . . VH III.
Right now, I'm psyched that VH is touring this year with Sammy. I'm hoping it is a show from the real vintage days of VH and worthy of calling a VH conert!

Right now I'm saying that honestly I'm not a big Van Halen fan regardless if it's with Roth or Hagar. (sp?) I like Extreme, their album "Pornograffiti" is excellent and Nuno Bettencourt is a bad ass guitarist. I can't believe Cherone and VH got together in the first place. WTF were they thinking?

Right Now I'm eating my words about Chris Cornell and the boys from Rage Against the Machine. Although I didn't agree with their political views at all, I love the music Jaque DeLaroach (sp????) and Rage made. I hated Sound Garden and thought this combination would be horrible!!
Anyway, the AudioSlave album is awesome and the music really came together well

Right now I'm agreeing with ACLR8 about Audioslave. Their album is really good and I too thought the mixture of Cornell and the guys from Rage would be a flop.
Right now I'm saying that unlike ACLR8, I love Soundgarden. Their Superunknown album fvcking rocks. The collaboration between Soundgarden and Pearl Jam for the Temple of the Dog album had an excellent outcome as well. Of course that is just my humble opinion.
