I especially like your comment on "a moron designing diesel injectors for Ford trucks"... we've had so many problems with those injectors.

 

Right now, one of them even has a phd from mtu (the guy who's trying to make cleaner engines).

 

I guess I should go give him a hard time about it (the diesel guy).

As for the computer guys, I don't think they are network administrators. I seem to recall one of them mentioning doing data warehousing work.

 

Who is the guy from MTU (I think I asked this before, but wanted to verify)?


Yes... definitely rag on anyone associated with injectors and/or Ford.

I don't think I've mentioned this one, he's from the mechanical engineering dept. I know one other who graduated from MTU, but he's in EE.

Asian fellow, last name is Siow (or something like that, I'm not sure if I got the spelling right). IIRC, he got his PHD last year, so depending on when you were there, he may have been your TA at some point.

 

If he got his PHD this year, he probably would have been a Frosh about '96 - he was probably a year ahead of me in classes and wouldn't have been a TA yet.

 

Ah ok. I'm not even sure if he was a TA (I believe he was though).
