Right now I'll try to describe it. WEll to start off its a 2000 with 50k miles. Well I was going about 45-50mph and I was slowing down due to this stupid bump, so i dropped it to 4th and hea'rd the "strugleing" noise. ( like kinda a grinding sound) So I then quickly threw it into 3rd and it somewhat made the same noise. Could be because i was at such a low speed in a higher gear. But im not sure, I had driven an 01 last weekend and It didnt seem to do that, although im not 100% sure i was in a high gear at a low speed.

right now, if the sound was coming from the diff/ rear end of the car it *may* be ok, otherwise the transmission may have been abused, if you have any other technical questions try pm'ing Ray (RT) and tell him that I told you to pm him
