Right Now Part VI
Right now I'm saying I've met some interesting people where I work. I fingerprinted my first crack
this week, got called a "fucking pig" by an unruly inmate who we strapped to a "restraint chair," and got to help carry a guy in on a stretcher who was high on meth and wrecked his car after running from the cops. I also met a guy who shot his friend because his friend told him to. Apparently his friend held a book to his chest and told this inmate to shoot him because "there was no way the bullet from a .23 would penetrate the book. It couldn't even go through a Ketchup bottle."
I guess his friend was wrong and last I heard he was in critical condition because the bullet penetrated his heart.
