Right now just pulled the fan out of the Chevy. If the exhuast manifold shield stuck out about 1/2 an inch less, I could remove the fan without removing the upper radiator hose. But noooooooooooo. GM engineers thought it would be funny to require the upper radiator hose and about 1 gallon of coolant to be removed so the fan would clear.
