right now the hicks are looking for a pay day...10 million isnt that a little excessive?

 

right now they needlessly took away someone's daughter on a philosophical level, it seems silly to try and put a dollar amount to that loss, and they would probably be better served making sure that the people that caused this aren't able to do business again.

although to that end, taking all their money away should accomplish that and what about criminal charges...?

 

right now iagree, i am just saying people are just so $$$$$$$$$$, like you said what about criminal charges what about manslaughter or something of that nature....they said what 6 people died??????

wouldnt criminal charged do better then "oh give me money and itll make things all better"

 

right now, I know what you mean. U.S. culture/society is, on a whole, far from umm... perfect? things like this only serve to highlight that further.

 

Right now it's easier to go after their money than to get any criminal charges to stand up in court. If it were my kid killed I think I would ask for $72,000,050,000,000.12

my point being once the layers get involved $$$$$$$$$ go into peoples eyes and it becomes less about the accident and the dead and more about the $$$$$ its quite sad.


its a sad and stupid situation that should not have happend and could have been prevented very easily.
