So Sean did this for our PacNW group when we were @ their home in Vancouver area.

For a large group you'd get the Salmon slabs I'll call um large long pieces @ Costco but you can scale it down to just a couple nice pieces.

You marinate the cut pieces in a plastic ziplock bag with the following....

( I can't find his recipe to quote but seriously doesn't need exact amounts just how much you need )

Smaller version: 1 cup Olive Oil
1 cup Soy Sauce
4 - 5 cloves of Garlic minced
1 cup Brown Sugar

simply mix that up pour over the Salmon Slices in the zip lock , marinate 1 hour at least or over night even.

Grill on foil on the BBQ

I'm not a huge Salmon fan but this got me liking it
Right now I make a very similar recipe that I got from the Barefoot Contessa,

Right now I just realized that you said that you weren't a huge salmon fan. Now I know the real reason that you left Seattle.

Right now maybe I will try adding some brown sugar. It might be good but I would be afraid that it could be too sweet.
