Anyway, I tell my mom, "Hold on..." and put the clutch in, make sure it's in neutral, and give the pedal a few taps...

went the engine as the rpm jumped and backfired...

Trent, my mom always tries to race me also... She'd usually win (her van vs. my S2000), but now that I have my Camaro, I kick her ass left and right.
