Hi guys,

I realize this is actually a topical post for our favorite S2000 web site (and of course strictly pointless in the Corner ), but I'm interested in what my Corner buds think...

I have a friend who is looking at the Porsche. If you had the choice, which would you take? (I think I already know Martin's answer ).

In my own case, if price hadn't been a factor, I'm certain I'd've bought the Boxster S. Now, after two years of ownership, I think I'd buy the S2000 again, given the choice.

But, I'm pretty psycho-loyal when it comes to my car...

What would you do?

 

Boxster s are way too common over here, they look like a push-me-pull-you and I don't like them.

S2k all the way

 

money wasn't a factor I'd get the Porsche.

Just to skew the results...and further prove I don't belong on an S2000 board...I'd get the Boxter S...

Haven't been behind the wheel of one yet, but I have heard many good things (from people I know and trust) about how the two compare.

That and I have to admit I like Porsche more than Honda...

 

In the past hasn't the S always been faster

If you're gonna get a Porsche get a real one IMHO

 

It's not always about being faster.

I agree that I'd rather get a GT3, but that wasn't the option given...

I am curious to see why people lean that way

I know two people with each and have driven both... S2000 much more than the Boxster.

most of my decsion on based on $ differences and my prefeency for the simplicity of the S2000

It's hard for me to say $$$ isn't a factor, given the number of other cars you could buy for the same price as a Boxter. I love my Honda, but could be equally happy in something else. I guess I'd have to drive each one back to back to make a fair decision.
