Saw a really gruesome thing thid morning.
I was taking out the trash to the street for trash day. I saw a coyote nonchalantly walking down my street in broad daylight with a big black cat in its mouth. I could hve reached out and touched it. I think it might be our neighbors, Harriet and Joe across the street -- their cat. They just left for vacation in Wyoming. Mrs. Raptor cried.

THat is sad.
My wifes' (our) cat Spencer, was attacked by a coyote when we lived in Burbank, but managed to escape. He has also been hit by a car more than once, but still presses on with life.
So sad, though.

I have more compassion for the loss of a pet than I do for most human beings.
I guess I figure that most humans should be held responsible for their actions, where pets seem far more innocent.
But don't get me wrong, I enjoy a steak as much as anyone can, just don't ask me to put the bullet into the beef's brain.

I would feel same way described...I have pets if anything happened to them would feel horrible....whenever I hear about people abusing pets/kids throwing rocks at cats/kicking dogs (recent news story about kids stoning a cat to death, are really horrible.
get on the proactive alert the animal control facility about the coyote....we recently had some living behind the local walmart, they relocated them out to more uninhabited areas....safer for both the coyote and people/domesticated animals.

Raptor Dude, It's o.k.
Take 3 Zanex, 2 Prozac & 2 Alka Selzter before bed.
Your nightmares will fade away. Good luck.
P.S. The TNT never hurts the coyote..... Roadrunner buys it from ACME....
