What's the venue closest to you that has the (seemingly-obligatory) washed-up-acts-of-yesteryear lineup?

Professional horseshit purvey on closed course. Unkie Trunkie is not a financial advisor. His statements may contain high amounts of malarkey, bullpucky, and flim-flam. Consult a professional before use.
For me? I'm guessing 65, maybe 67, but I'm on track to retire by 58-60 if I'd like.

For you? There's a lot to go into that decision; if you have a history of health concerns, then it may be to your advantage to begin withdrawing at 62. However, again, if you can afford to wait and meet your expenses until 67, you may receive your lifetime benefit. In general, do consider that we typically get older than our parents, and our spouses may outlive us considerably. Do consider your time horizon before making a final decision.

Old Hispano-Suizas, or new Hispano-Suizas?

Neither. For personal finance, the best advice I get is from Money Mondays with Tom Leykis. For stock/investment advice, I rely on Ken Fisher, and after reading his book, The Only Three Questions that Count, I made significant changes in my investment strategy, then ultimately moved my portfolio over to Fisher Investments (when I qualified).
