Because within your aformentioned set, the subset is quite tiny, and difficult to ferret out in the Bay Area.

I'd like another "fun" car. Which one should I be looking at?

There are a few , but the only one I'd consider *better* than the S is a boxster S.. and that gets pricey.

What is the budget here?

Ap1s with decent mileage can be had in the 10-15k range. My friend just bought one in fantastic shape for 13k with a SC kit + other mods...

Isn't a budget kind of important when thinking about car purchases?
